Texas Smoke. Mediterranean Soul. No Pork. No Fine Print.

At YahYahs Mediterranean BBQ, we believe you should know what you’re eating. That sounds simple enough, but apparently the BBQ world enjoys keeping things interesting.

We’re proud to be a pork-free BBQ brand. We don’t sell pork, cook with pork, or intentionally use pork-derived ingredients in our products. Our biblical dietary convictions aren’t an inconvenience we work around—they’re part of what shaped YahYahs in the first place.

And that has led us to do BBQ a little differently.

Ribs? Absolutely! Just Not
Those Ribs

We love ribs. Tender meat. Smoke. Bark. Seasoning. That glorious moment when you’ve stopped pretending the napkin is going to save your shirt.

We just don’t need a pig to accomplish it. Instead of pork ribs, YahYahs makes beef ribs—big, rich, smoke-loving cuts of beef that seem perfectly happy spending several hours around a smoker.

It’s Texas BBQ. Beef wasn’t exactly a difficult substitute to find.

“All Beef” Can Get Interesting

Then there’s sausage. You walk through the grocery store and spot a package proudly announcing:

“ALL BEEF
SAUSAGE“

Wonderful.

Beef filling. Beef flavor. Everything appears to be going according to plan.
And then that beautiful all-beef sausage gets stuffed inside a pork chitterling…

Wait…
Sorry.
We meant pork casing.
(Sounds considerably better that way, doesn’t it ?)

But that’s the point. A sausage can contain an all-beef filling while the casing surrounding it is still derived from a pig. The big “ALL BEEF” on the package doesn’t necessarily tell you everything about the casing.

At YahYahs, we pay attention to that part too.

The Casing Matters Too

Traditional natural hog casings are derived from pigs. That makes them a nonstarter for what we’re building.
YahYahs instead chooses beef-derived collagen casings for our sausages. These casings are manufactured using collagen-rich material derived from cattle and formed into the tubular casing that holds the sausage during stuffing, smoking, and cooking.
We don’t manufacture the casings ourselves. We intentionally select beef-derived collagen casings because the source matters to us.

No pork means no pork – from the filling to the casing!! 😤
That’s the YahYahs difference.

BBQ With a Different Point of View

Being pork-free isn’t about making a list of everything we can’t cook.

It’s about discovering everything we can.

Beef ribs instead of pork ribs – Big, smoky cuts built for the pit.

Brisket smoked Texas-style – Low, slow, peppery, and unapologetically beef.

Beef sausage – Seasoned with our Mediterranean influence.

Bison and lamb – When ordinary sausage just isn’t interesting enough.

And Wait Until You Try Our Smoked Mediterranean Salmon

Because apparently brisket, beef ribs, sausage, bison, and lamb weren’t enough for us. We had to invite the Mediterranean to the cookout too.

That’s where YahYahs lives: somewhere between Texas smokehouse and a Mediterranean table.

We respect the smoke, bring our own flavors, and pay attention to ingredients—even the ones most people never think to ask about. Because sometimes the difference isn’t the giant brisket sitting in the middle of the table. Sometimes it’s the casing around the sausage.

No pork. No pork-derived casings. Ingredients chosen with purpose.

Texas Smoke. Mediterranean Soul. That’s the YahYahs Difference.
